Kolorblok Shawl Kit by Cecily Grove Yarns
This is the kit to make the Kolorblok Shawl - a knitted shawl by Justyna Lorkowska using a set of Goya Singles Minis.
Each kit includes 11 mini skeins of Goya Singles in colours: Whisper, Basalt, Creeper, Rust, Ginger, Patina, Grove, Pickle, Nocturne, Son of The Blue Sky and Cosmos as well as a Ravelry download code.
Goya Singles are a soft, single ply 100% super wash merino yarn. This extra fine (19.5 micron) merino is used to give a plump, silky yarn with a pearly lustre. The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. This results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.Ideal for accessories, jumpers, cardigans and more.
Goya Singles: 100% Single Ply Merino (100g / 400m and 20g / 80m)
Size

Needles (not included)
Size 3.75 mm/US #5 or size needed for gauge; 80 cm/32” circular.

Gauge
22 sts and 40 rows over 10 cm/4” in Garter st, after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
NOTE: Each section is calculated to use a full mini skein. If you want to avoid running out of yarn, make sure to match the washed gauge. It’s best to make section #1 and if you run out, just go down in needle size and restart. Otherwise, have more yarn than recommended in the pattern.
