Fearless Fair Isle with Pru Raymond
Tangles, tension, and scary steeks holding you back? Fear not: after this full day Fair Isle workshop with Pru Raymond, you will conquer colour dominance and catching floats. You will develop a personal yarn management strategy to avoid tangled yarn. Level up and learn how to fearlessly cut your stranded colourwork knitting. Leave with a new level of confidence to knit any Stranded Colourwork pattern.

Time: 9:30am
Class duration: 6 hours which includes 30-45 minutes break for lunch (not provided)
- Needles: 4 mm/ 80cm circular knitting needle or DPNs
- Yarn: 2 x 50g balls/cakes of 8ply/DK yarn in solid/ semi solid colours with a high
contrast (ie. one white/ very light coloured yarn and one or mid - dark coloured
yarn)
Skill Level
This workshop is suitable for novice to intermediate knitters who would like to improve their skills, their tension and their yarn management when working in two colours. Knitters will be supported to improve the quality and complexity of their colourwork projects, as well as challenged to approach more advanced techniques like steeking.
Terms and conditions: Classes can be booked online or in-store. There is a limited number of spaces in the class but we can add your name to a waiting list if a cancellation becomes available. Full payment is required when booking to confirm your space.
Minimum numbers: All classes require a minimum of eight people in order for it to go ahead. If your class does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within two days of the class date of the cancellation or change of date. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred if your class is postponed or cancelled. If your class is postponed or cancelled you can either transfer the amount paid to another class or be issued a full refund. If you need to cancel, swap or postpone your attendance at a class, you can do so up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Less than 7 days notice, we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your space. Once a class has started, we cannot provide a refund.
