Bao Bao (เบา เบา) is a Thai expression meaning gentle, soft, and light—and that feeling lives in every stitch of this shawl. Worked top-down into a symmetrical triangle, Bao Bao flows effortlessly from your needles, guided by the addictive, rhythmic texture first introduced by Isabell Kraemer in her beloved Heimathafen design. It’s the kind of pattern that invites you to slow down, savour each row, and fall into the quiet joy of knitting.

After exploring 3 and 4 colour versions, MYak couldn’t resist going further. Using their Tibetan Cloud mini skeins, they composed two luminous multicolour journeys—each one telling its own story through colour.

Deep, saturated tones of Genziana, Tulipano, and Pacific Iris dance against a dramatic dominant shade that anchors the composition like the last glowing horizon. A gentler palette inspired by quiet mornings and warm light. Celadon Blue and Lotus Blossom drift effortlessly among calming neutrals like Almondine and Wild Daisy, creating a shawl that feels timeless and refined.

This version offers a more meditative knitting experience, where subtle shifts in tone create depth and elegance without ever overwhelming the eye.
