Full On Fair Isle with Pru Raymond
Get full on with Fair Isle in this intensive workshop with Pru Raymond. Learn to slice your knitting open like a pro, and add bands and cuffs. Develop techniques to make your colourwork stitches pop, and your floats so beautiful, you’ll want to wear your sweaters inside out. You will leave with a new level of confidence to knit any Fair Isle/stranded colourwork pattern.

Class duration: 3 hours
- Needles: 4 mm circular knitting needle with 80cm circumference or DPNs
• Yarn: 2 x 50g balls of 8ply/DK non-superwash yarn in solid/ semi solid colours with
a high contrast (ie. one white/ very light coloured yarn and one or mid- dark
coloured yarn)
• Notions: wool needle, stitch markers, scissors.
Skill Level
This class is designed for knitters to improve and extend their stranded colourwork skills to include better yarn management strategies, consistent colour dominance, catching floats (how, why and when), and steeking (‘unfinished’ method).
Terms and conditions: Classes can be booked online or in-store. There is a limited number of spaces in the class but we can add your name to a waiting list if a cancellation becomes available. Full payment is required when booking to confirm your space.
Minimum numbers: All classes require a minimum of eight people in order for it to go ahead. If your class does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within two days of the class date of the cancellation or change of date. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred if your class is postponed or cancelled. If your class is postponed or cancelled you can either transfer the amount paid to another class or be issued a full refund. If you need to cancel, swap or postpone your attendance at a class, you can do so up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Less than 7 days notice, we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your space. Once a class has started, we cannot provide a refund.
