Knit the Ella

With summer on its way, what could be nicer than knitting a gorgeous lace-yoked top in linen or cotton?

Learn to knit a seamless yoked sweater in this workshop, spaced over three two-hour lessons.

Dates: Saturday, November 11 and 25, and December 9

Time: 1:00

Class Duration: 3 x 2 hours

This class is suitable for the adventurous knitter who wants to progress to knitting garments.

Participants will learn to:

• fit a sweater
• raise the neckline with German short rows
• increase in lace
• pick up stitches.

Cost : $100 total

Materials Required:

• a copy of the pattern Sommer Ella Solo by Lene Holme Samsøe available to purchase via Ravelry or leknit.com
• sufficient yarn to knit the sweater in your chosen size
• circular needles to achieve gauge.

Before the first lesson, please knit a gauge swatch with 4mm needles and bring it with you. Ensure your swatch measures at least 15cm x 15cm.

Terms and conditions: Classes can be booked online or in-store. There is a limited number of spaces in the class but we can add your name to a waiting list if a cancellation becomes available. Full payment is required when booking to confirm your space.

Minimum numbers: All classes require a minimum of four people in order for it to go ahead. If your class does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within two days of the class date of the cancellation or change of date. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred if your class is postponed or cancelled. If your class is postponed or cancelled you can either transfer the amount paid to another class, use as a store credit or be issued a full refund. If you need to cancel, swap or postpone your attendance at a class, you can do so up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Less than 7 days notice, we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your space. Once a class has started, we cannot provide a refund.
