Continental Knitting (2 hour lesson)

Do you "throw" or knit "English style"? Do you suffer from pain in your hands arms or shoulders while knitting? Have you just always wanted to learn how to knit Continental style? This class is perfect for you.

During this two-hour class Anita Jaensch, who has been knitting since she was very young, will teach you the basics of how to hold your yarn, how to do the knit stitch, and teach you two different ways of purling.

Date: Saturday, February 25, 2023

Time: 1:30 - 3:30pm

Suitable for: Advanced beginners (attendees need to be comfortable with basic knitting skills)

Cost: $75 (You also receive 10% discount on any purchases made in store on the day)

Materials required: DK /8 ply yarn and 4mm circular knitting needles. Please cast on 40 stitches and knit in garter stitch prior to the class.

Terms and conditions: Classes can be booked online or in-store. There is a limited number of spaces in the class but we can add your name to a waiting list if a cancellation becomes available. Full payment is required when booking to confirm your space. 

Minimum numbers: All classes require a minimum of four people in order for it to go ahead. If your class does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within two days of the class date of the cancellation or change of date. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred if your class is postponed or cancelled. If your class is postponed or cancelled you can either transfer the amount paid to another class, use as a store credit or be issued a full refund. If you need to cancel, swap or postpone your attendance at a class, you can do so up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Less than 7 days notice, we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your space. Once a class has started, we cannot provide a refund.
